    Nate, this should be the last one. I just got done snowplowing what seemed like half the neighborhood. I don't think the benefits of owning a beat up snowblower are worth the exhaustion.

    BTW, There is some good ice fishing out in Deep Creek Lake though! I have an auger if you want to give it a try :)

    Really? I figured the ice was thick enough to make life miserable, but thin enough to kill me.

    I heard the ice was a couple feet thick prior to this last rain/snow storm. More than a few years ago I did a little skiing and ice fishing at Deep Creek Lake. Caught some nice sized yellow perch, a few brown trout, and some chain pickerel. But I'm with you, enough is enough. If it weren't for my road trip last month to the New Orleans bayous, I would be seeking some medical attention.
