GREAT,,is that all they're worth after 3 yrs,,i might rethink my order
I was the original owner of this boat. I believe it is hull number 8. The only reason I sold it was I did not like the tiller set up. This is a great boat with many options and extras. It ran great with the 30 - no speed demon but moved along fine. I had ALOT of money in this boat when I originally had it built. Someone will be getting a great boat for a good price (as long as motor checks out!) Good luck to the next owner of this boat
A Ford F-150 is probably worth about half it's retail value after 2-3 years...they're still some of the best trucks on the road and people still buy them like crazy.
Mel makes a great product and you won't be disappointed with your purchase.
Not to mention...he's probably selling it for much less than it's worth if I had to guess.
I wouldn't worry.some people like to give things away.
Looks like a great deal...I wish this was closer for me to check out!
so would i be crazy to drive 12 hrs to get this thing...? man i would love to have this boat
Agreed. Looks like a good deal. I drove 10hrs to pick up my 11' mitzi 17.
I was hoping someone on microskiff picked this one up by now. This boat is loaded! This is definitely something worth driving for! I posted build info on this boat when I got it.
(If I had the cash) I would make that drive in a heartbeat.
My buddy picked her up last night, looks like a sweet ride, I can't wait to fish in it.
Your friend is the devil!
joking of course good deal im sure he will love it! I'll get my hands on one eventually. :'(
really,, glad i dont use your dealer, i get a new truck every 2 years and i get a hell of a lot more than half
Wow that looks like a real steal. In my opinion the Gen2's are finished out much better which would decrease the value of the Gen1's. But the Gen1's are still great poling skiffs after all that's the boat that really got Ankona going.
I think most of the value for a boat is in its motor anyways, and a 30hp Toh won't hold its value that well although it is the best bang-for-your-buck new motor on a new Ankona.
It will be interesting to see how the value stacks up over time on the Ankonas. They're just so dang cheap to get new... and new motors under warranty are awesome.
If I had the $7K floating around I'd have bitten their arm off!
