Yeah that seller is a boat flipper, bought it from under me right before I was going to see it with cash in hand in Palm Harbor for $11k.

That was a few weeks ago and now it's up for sale again already for 15k now. This is twice now I've been beaten by a boat flipper on a good deal and found the boat for sale again weeks later, I swear to god these dealers watch FB and CL with cash ready like a hawk ready to pounce for profit it's so annoying. Unless the boat is around the block from me I can't get there fast enough.

He didn't "buy it from under you." You dragged your feet, or contemplated it for too long, or were trying to negotiate too much with the seller, or couldn't get there in time, or pick a reason. That guy went there & bought it first.

Sorry to derail the thread, just can't stand people acting as if they had some sense of ownership or entitlement to the purchase of a vehicle/boat/etc. when they never did.

Calm down. Nobody is hurting you. A guy bought a boat before you did. You've cried about it on several threads now. We get it.

Interesting layout. I don’t remember ever seeing one without a forward casting deck and I do think I would miss the forward storage and anchor locker.

Obviously I was talking to the seller, I wouldn't have gone to the bank and had cash ready if I wasn't. The morning of the day I was supposed to see it he messaged me and said he had just sold it. I can't believe I just needed to explain that but here we are.

McDuffies (where it’s being sold) are good folks.

Good to know, I didn't realize the new seller was a dealership which is kind of odd if they are driving across the state to buy from a private seller.

Most flippers I've dealt with are private party trying to act like it was their personal car or boat.

Well he claimed to be one of the Billboard Lawyers. Claimed he had already booked a hotel and made all arrangements and I sold it for a gran more than he agreed to for full asking price 12k. All the while I had Face Bookers bashing my sale saying it was only worth 3k blah blah blah and that I was stupid for sinking soo much money into an older boat.
Just saying buying and selling can be quite a pain.
What got my attention is the neg vibes on flippers. I love to look at boats online, I enjoy rigging them and making them better. If I see a potential deal on a popular boat I might clean it up and use it for a while then sell it. Making a profit on parts and labor is tough.
