Hi,

Any experience on this in 60-70 degree air temperature? I plan on fishing the Cape Cod flats in early June, and got a great deal on this line. It says 68 degree and above on the line.

Hard to find a coldwater line that isn't over-weighted for my 8 weight Meridian. For example, I got a 9 weight Airflo Sniper Line for my 9 weight rod and it clocked in at 375 grains! Even my stout 9 weight was a limp noodle.

Open to thoughts....

I've lawn cast in 40 degrees. It coils up but I can still throw it. Not sure how it would fish. Maybe size down with a coldwater line? I definitely found my meridian does not like overweight lines due to the tip flex.

I usually use a Wulff Bermuda Triangle line, but the 40 something water temp north of Boston has not loved it, so I actually switched to an older Cortland 333 intermediate line, 9 weight to match my rod (don't have a scale but I think 333 is pre-weight+1/2) and it's handling the cold water pretty well without breaking the bank...
