I am realizing that the lack of cleats creates a problem when docking at a fixed dock - particularly on a moving tide let’s say overnight.

Any good fender products out there? The Mitzi hull is basically a lip all around so need to protect the rub rails.

Run a rope tight from the bow to stern, then come off that with shorter lengths of rope to hang the fenders. It's a pain, but I've done it.

Academy sells some jointed flat fenders that will bend ninety degrees. I bought a pair for my skiff and affixed lines cut to length and attached clips. They clip right on to the poling platform and a D ring on the bulkhead at the front of the cockpit.

I don’t recall the brand, and my boat is in the shop so I can’t look at them. Perhaps Attwood? They work really well.

I like flat fenders since they don't roll. They also sell bass boat style fenders that are the inflatable type and have the top bent over. You might look at jet ski fenders as well. They slide over the rub rails.
