(i used the search function but could not find any threads)
So i found and purchased a perfect running in immaculate condition internally 96' electric tiller, short shaft, 40rude and the tilt assist cable is broke of course and the tilt assist cylinder is feeling pretty rough. I pulled the cable and freed the cylinder by pulling on the release valve next to it then started moving the motor up and down but sounds like some air bubbles or something like that is in the cylinder, the release valve also not so pleasant to operate. after a lot of research this seems to be a typical issue with this model and will need replacement with power trim and tilt to avoid issue. so my question is there a legitimate way to temporally fix this problem other than taking the pin out (that kind of fixing isnt my thing
) like maybe having the cylinder serviced bled or something along those lines?
