Looks like a clean skiff, but it's been for sale for awhile.
I hope this isn't seen as bashing, because it's a genuine question. Judging from the pricing on the Ankona site, can't you buy that boat new for less than that? I do understand the wait time and all. Am I off base?
Mods, I apologize ahead if this is seen as bashing.
I don t know the boat or the guy selling it but I do know that the normal prices listed by Mel are bare bones boats.
The list of items added to that SC is pretty good, I think. I think if you took the bare price plus the alum trailer and extras, you'd understand the value.
I just finished having an SC 18 built and am doing all the rigging myself on my boat, but the base price, and a fully rigged out boat are two totally different prices -- Just my experience...
Not at all bashing. To answer your question, you cannot get a SC18 with everything this skiff has for cheaper then $16k.
I saw this boat when I was in Flamingo back in Feb and it is clean and well cared for.
Or trade for slightly larger skiff.

New price. $14500.
Fished this skiff this past weekend. Poles great, pops up real shallow and catches fish. Runs great with two or three. Owner loves the boat but is motivated and ready to upgrade.
