Excuse my ignorance here, but what are the thru hull looking pieces in the cap at the corners of the cockpit where it meets the front deck? Almost look like the hatch drain outlets typically in the front bulkhead

They are Taco fender snaps. I use them instead of cleats cause when anchored for tarpon you can unhook really quick. Tom Gordan uses them on his Islamorda bay boats instead of cleats so he talked me into putting them on.
