I have owned this 2011 Carolina Skiff JVX18CC since brand new and it's been an excellent fishing/cruising/family boat. Tons of room for an 18ft boat. We recently moved to PCB Florida and want to upgrade to a larger size so we can focus on fishing offshore. The Yamaha F70 is a beast and totally sips gas. I have had zero issues with the motor as it has been flawless. All proper service was performed at all appropriate times. Have all original paperwork to prove. Top speed with the t-top and one person lightly is around 33mph. Sorry I don't have fuel consumption numbers. Hole shot is great with the 4 blade prop. As you can see in the pics I added a custom T-top from Modlin's Welding in North Carolina. I delivered the boat to him from GA to fab it. The top is removable at the mid-point to allow for storage. I also had Modlin's construct a grab bar that attaches to the top posts if you would rather have the top off. The construction of the top is really strong and the attention to detail is excellent. I tried my best to take meticulous care of this rig. Rinsed with freshwater after EVERY use and washed very frequently. Below are the full specs for the rig. - 2011 Carolina Skiff JVX18CC, gray hull color, gelcoat in excellent shape - 2011 Yamaha F70 4 Stroke, 157 hours, runs absolutely perfect, Marine gas always used, full warranty until 03/2014. - EZ Loader Swing Tongue aluminum trailer w/ LED lights - Modlins's Welding custom removable T-Top, 6 rod holders, wired for E-box, $2300 - Custom leaning post, removable backrest, under seat storage, footrest, $700 - New Garmin Echomap 50S, coastal mapping, $600 - Swim platform and ladder - Center console baitwell, rear deck baitwell - Power grip tilt steering wheel - Fusion RA200 ipod/FM/Pandora/USB radio, 4 Pioneer Marine speakers There are no major issues with this boat at all. It obviously shows some signs of use but nothing out of the ordinary. Below are the issues that I know of and some will be addressed before the boat is sold. - The "auto" switch for the bilge pump is currently inoperable, the manual switch does work. I read that it may be a float issue in the pump itself?? - The down tilt switch on the hand throttle is sticky at times. Still under warranty, just need to swap it out. - I've tried my best to keep the corrosion at a minimum on the trailer but some parts are rusted. Again, normal for any 2011 trailer used in saltwater. I should mention that the boat has only been used in saltwater for one year. Freshwater before that. I used Corrosion-X on the motor so zero issues there. I am located in Panama City Beach Florida and have no problems giving a sea trial for anyone interested. We live a few hundred yards from a boat ramp. I may also consider meeting a potential buyer within a reasonable distance to look at the boat. Just let me know if we can work something out. Asking $17,500 OBO for the entire package. These are currently the only pics that I have of the boat. Please let me know if you have any questions. Text or call 706-540-5058, I check my PM's here but not that often.
