    I know this boat is not a big boat, nor a fishing boat but it is micro and will show boat design/build processes for boats of the period.

    This is a Penn Yan racing hydroplane hull. My father is going through the boat replacing rotten wood and the plan is for him to pass it on to me for canvas and metal work. I will just start with pics because that is what we all love. I will try my best to keep the thread going and updating but the boat is currently in Crystal River and I am in Port Orange.

    here is the boat in the 1950's just restored and set-up for racing.

    here is how it sits as of march 2011. you can see the canvas has been removed and wood being replaced. we also got the Martin 200 free'd up but there is a lot of corrosion in it.
