Not my ad but looks pretty freakin sweet. A 90 with side console jackplate and a 4 blade prop.

Wish I was in the market.

My 16 DLX has a 50 on it and goes 35 maxed out. Doesn't feel fast until you get in a good chop. My hotheaded butt got the prop out of the water on a good wave a couple of weekends ago.

DLX is wider with higher gunnels and more glass.  Much heavier than a J16.  A J16 with a 50 and the right prop would do 40+.

Not as big a difference as I thought...but still a couple hundred pounds.

Yeah, I put that comment in there for comparison. The DLX is wider, deeper and heavier than the J16. It also has strakes and other hull mods to keep it under control in the water. The point is, things can get hairy in a wider, heavier boat with half the horsepower. With a 90 that boat would be at best dancing on it's chines with good throttle. I wanna try it!
