Haha me too but I'd be terrified. With the flat bottom that thing would probably start to create lift! It would go from flats fishing to flying around in a Star Wars movie.
My 16 DLX has a 50 on it and goes 35 maxed out. Doesn't feel fast until you get in a good chop. My hotheaded butt got the prop out of the water on a good wave a couple of weekends ago.

Yeah, I put that comment in there for comparison. The DLX is wider, deeper and heavier than the J16. It also has strakes and other hull mods to keep it under control in the water. The point is, things can get hairy in a wider, heavier boat with half the horsepower. With a 90 that boat would be at best dancing on it's chines with good throttle. I wanna try it!
