      April 27, 2019 - Headed out with Tommy to fish at Bushy Park. This is the 1st inshore trip since we got back from Costa Rica. It was an awesome day with great weather. We fished the incoming tide and ended up with 2 keeper trout and we released 2 smaller trout. We fished Zman 4inch Jerk Shad - https://amzn.to/2XPb8lJ and Zman Trout Tricks - https://amzn.to/2V33Bmo. We are ditching the smaller baits for now and are going to focus on bigger baits for bigger fish.

      I caught my biggest redfish on the Wando today, a 30 inch brute that I almost lost in the motor. I saw fish all morning and could not get them to bite. I matched the hatch with a Zman 4 inch jerk shad and saw the fish charge in to eat.

      April 30, 2019 - Headed out on the Wando to do a little sight fishing for redfish. It was low tide and there was fish everywhere. Most were reluctant to bite but I had a 24 inch fish to bite a Zman 4" jerk shad https://amzn.to/2XPb8lJ. I used a Yakattack stake out stick https://amzn.to/2GZt2MZ to anchor quickly on the flats without spooking any fish.

      My Dad and I go fishing on the Wando and I outfished him with a grand slam! I started the day off with a nice 27 inch redfish at the upper Wando. We then head down stream and get into a hot trout and flounder bite keeping a 16 inch flounder and 16 inch trout. We end up at Juba Flats jumping off several trout and landing a 16" redfish. We take all three species home to Mom to fillet and cook for us. She fried them like they do in Mexico and they were great! The hot bait of the day was the Zman 4" Jerk Shad https://amzn.to/2PHeMxc rigged on an Eye Strike 3/16 oz Jighead https://amzn.to/33ghb5N.
