Fall fishing is upon us as the weather gets cooler. Tommy and I head out on Friday, October 11, 2019 early in the morning and fish the outgoing tide. We start off with top waters https://amzn.to/2nlb5S5 and then move over to Zman 4" jerk shads https://amzn.to/2B6ZFoc. We picked at the trout in the morning and then Tommy hooked up to a 23" redfish that he sight casted to. We saw a frenzy on the flats and we are not sure what it was. I am thinking that a school of redfish was under dolphin attack.

I head out to fish the out going tide on Thursday, October 17, 2019 before the weekend. I start out on the flats with Zman 4" jerk shads https://amzn.to/2B6ZFoc. I caught 1 trout and must have caught 5 or more lizardfish. I wanted to get away from the trashfish, so I head up river to Juba flats. The bite was much better there, I caught several trout, a flounder and a bluefish. I switch over to topwater https://amzn.to/2nlb5S5 and had several big blowups. Then I hook into a nice bluefish at the end of the day. I lost a lot of trout on one of my jigheads. The weather was bad this weekend so I worked and took off Monday to go fishing. I head out around 1:00pm and fish several spots before the bite turned on. Ended up with a handful of trout, a flounder and a lizardfish. My nephew, Mandin, came to visit from Mexico and I had to take him fishing. I always fish with his Dad, Mando when we go to Mexico. We head out on the Wando at 11:30am with low tide at 2:30pm. Mandin caught the first fish, a nice keeper trout. We continued picking at the trout and at low tide hooked into a nice flounder and redfish. I heard the redfish making noise in 6 inches of water and casted right to him. I really like the new GoPro neck mount https://amzn.to/2JzE0JX that I was using. It is way better than the old one I used from GoPro. It is also super fast to take off and put on someone else who has a fish on.
