Agree that craft stores often have "fly tying" supplies masquerading as jewelery making supplies. Beads and wires galore.
Agreed. I buy a lot of stuff at the local craft stores, Michael's, Hobby Lobby, etc. Most tiers would be surprised at the mark up they are paying for "fly tying" materials.

I am experimenting now with hair extensions I found on Amazon after seeing some hair braiding activity in Disney.

Looks a lot like EP fibers or similar and in some fairly eye-popping colors. Price point is very good.

My kids are up for a while and they stay in what they mistakenly think is my daughter's room. I repurposed it when she moved out but my wife says I have to let them sleep in there so I'm off the desk for a week or so. I'll post some pictures when I get one looking right.

I agree 100%. I have often bought craft fur, tinsel, pheasant tails at craft stores such as Michaels and Hobby Lobby. I even bought a big pack of colorful assorted “hackles” once but only about 5% of the feathers in that package were in usable condition. I never used them for any flies but I did use them on a few of my buddies shad spoons as he was complaining about the price of buying a Pet13 vs a standard spoon without feathers.
