I’ve played with the 10wt. Cannon of a rod, would be a phenomenal wind stick. Lacked the feel of the T&T Exocett. If I was given one, I’d fish the hell out of it!
Just purchased a 9wt Helios 3D.
Casted all the top rods before I chose. Super lightweight, accurate and great backbone to the rod. First fish was a solid 20 pound black drum. I have rio redfish line and throws great!
Have a 5, 9 and 8. Phenomenally accurate rods. Fished the 9 for redfish in Louisiana all this fall and winter and just got the 8 for bonefish. I compared it to my old Orvis H2 with Airflo Tropical Punch. The H3 ran circles around the H2. Truly a solid and impressive rod, especially for windy conditions.
