Skinny Water Culture
Wow, another clothing line to evaluate! Well for this simple country boy this makes for some challenging write ups. My vocabulary consists of small easy to spell words, and good old cuss words. My reviews in my mind are yes or no, but I must dig out the trust Webster dictionary and that dino…treasure…the saurus thingy.
Ok, so Skinny Water Culture sends me some shirts to check out. A couple t-shirts and a microfiber. I emailed Vince and let him know the package had arrived and that I would need a couple of weeks to come up with something worthy of my reader’s time. Vince promptly called me to explain his stance on his line, and that was pretty impressive. Quite simply he admits his t-shirts are not really made just for fishing, but rather for a change in pace from the shirts you see on nearly every fisherman’s back when off the water. You know the big names, and my guess is you have a few of these in your closet. Skinny Water Culture offers something fresh, and quite fashionable if I do say so myself. We all know my fashion sense belongs somewhere in the backwaters far from the general public however these are good looking shirts.
With artwork by Chase Hancock these shirts definitely stand out, and a logo done in a young trendy font and an unmistakable push pole the shirts do not look anything like your daddy’s fishing shirt. These are definitely a shirt that you may consider too good to wear out on the boat, but rather wear when going out with your buds to the local bar, or restaurant. The guys at SWC definitely have their head in the game, and are innovators in the industry.
The microfiber shirt is like many others out there, nice and light, and comfortable in the heat, however it boasts the cool artwork as well, and like the t-shirts it would look good just wearing around town to let everyone know what you are really passionate about.
