Gheenoe cover, possible source
Nov 6th, 2007 at 12:49pm

I found this guy on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290177929621&fromMakeTrack=tr... and seems like it might be an affordable, custom-sized cover for gheenoes. I have contacted him and am waiting response. Thought I'd share it with others.

If/when I place an order and get it in, I will post a follow-up.

Update on the final cost for a custom hi-sider cover, with an integrated cover for the outboard, bungee cord sewn into the hem all the way around, a reinforced slot for the trolling motor bracket to stick through, and sewn-in loops to bungee it to the trailer is $150 shipped.

From what I've seen for boat covers I think that's very reasonable, even more so considering it's a custom fitted cover.

I'll be ordering one once I recieve and install my TM mount, and will post pics once it's in.

Hope this helps someone out there.

I have no idea but it's worth giving him a call or shooting him an email. His name is Max, and his email is canvas@paulbunyan.net, phone # is 218-897-5000. Was very helpful and knowledgeable when I talked with him about the cover, and he said he even had measurements of some of the gheenoe hulls already, so he may have one for the LT25 with a poling platform.

I am waiting for my trolling motor mount to arrive so I can mount it and give him measurements of where to place the slit for it. Should be able to get an order going with him next week.

Will let you all know how it works out and will of course post pics.
