Microskiff announces donation of 'Project NMZ' to CCA Florida.
Microskiff.com is proud to announce that the ‘Project NMZ’ skiff will be donated to the Coastal Conservation Association Florida. CCA Florida will use the ‘Project NMZ’ skiff as a fundraising tool for the CCA Florida New Tide Youth Education Program.
The New Tide Membership enrolls youngsters 18 and under in the CCA Youth Education Program. New Tide members will receive a membership card, New Tide sticker, iron-on decal, patch, redfish and speckled trout sticker and a subscription to The Rising Tide, the CCA youth newsletter filled with fun facts, puzzles and games, and fishing tips. CCA’s New Tide program was created to educate young anglers on the complex web of marine life and ecosystems, and teach them the conservation ethic that will prepare them to serve as stewards of the resource in the future.
Microskiff.com and CCA Florida will use ‘Project NMZ’ to promote the New Tide Youth Education Program at CCA events and Microskiff events. The goal is to generate $10,000 towards the program to help underwrite 1,000 memberships for youths wanting to participate in the CCA’s New Tide Program.
Project NMZ will be officially unvieled at the 2008 Big Gheenoe Rally - October 10th-12th Long Point Park. Additional details will be released at the event.
